Veteran Superstars Wanted Everywhere
Veterans Want Out
There are NBA Veterans that really want that ring on their fingers after playing for so long. Some may already have one but why not have another? Just being on that average or below average team isn't enough for people especially for those who are aging quickly. The biggest superstars that have moved this basketball season are Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, Jason Kidd, Pau Gasol, and big Shaq.
Most people know that Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen have gone to Boston in the preseason. Recently, Jason Kidd had gone back to the Dallas Mavericks. Pau Gasol has gone to the Lakers, and he looks had made the best decision out of all the veterans. Shaq has gone to the Phoenix Suns to play with Nash and Amare. Also Mike Bibby went to the Atlanta Hawks to play with the very young team. All these players really want to win the National Championships. Now that they are on a new team, they may have that chance.

Rivalry Week: Duke Takes It This Year
Duke Stomp the Tar Heels
Duke had an outstanding game against ancient rivals, North Carolina. Duke had 13 from behind the perimeter. Greg Paulus stepping up to score 18 points and 6-8 from 3- point land. He was one of six players that had double digit scoring on the Blue Devils team. Duke had penetrated into the lane and kicked it out to players for the three. Now Duke pulls away and is the top team in the ACC.
What Was North Carolina's Problem?
The Tar Heels just did not play their game last night. All their top players just had an awful game. The only player that had a good game was Tyler Hansbrough. He had a double double with 28 points and 18 rebounds. The only thing is that one player can't do it all. Wayne Ellington didn't have a good game. North Carolina was just out hustled by the Blue Devils, and they couldn't handle Duke's amazing shooting and execution.

Cavs Pull One Over Top Dog Celtics
How Did the Cavaliers Pull It Off?
LeBron James was unbelievable against the Boston Celtics. He had 13 assists and 31 points with 11 points just in overtime. Also with the help of Drew Gooden and Zydrunas Ilgauskas, they had won one of the best games of the season. Both teams had played such a great game that they had gone into overtime.
What Went Wrong?
Ray Allen had 29 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds. He was not the only person to help out with the scoring. Kevin Garnett had 19 points and Paul Pierce with 16 points. Boston could have won this game but it had gone wrong for them when they were 69 percent from the free throw line. They had made only 20 out of 29. With LeBron James there, Boston couldn't get a "W."

A Showdown in the West
Why the Dallas Mavericks Won?
Dallas Mavericks had dominated in every aspect of the game except for free throws. San Antonio Spurs were shooting at 79% and Mavs at 73%. Josh Howard from the Mavs had been the scoring leader with 23 points. Dirk Nowitzki had also done good. He had profitted off the mismatches with the Spurs.
Why Did the Spurs Lose?
One of the reasons Spurs lost because Tony Parker had not played his usual game. He had only 7 points and 8 assists. The only good thing he did was that he only had 1 turnover. He did not convert on offense, and he let Mavs' Harris score 18 points, being the second leading scorer for the Mavs. These two teams are very good and might just meet in the playoffs. They are still the top of the West.
